Authors are requested to carefully read and follow the guidelines below before submitting their manuscripts.

Types of Manuscripts

AJEUB accepts the following categories of manuscripts:

  • Original Research Articles
  • Review Articles
  • Case Studies
  • Short Communications

Originality

Submitted manuscripts must:

  • Be original and unpublished.
  • Not be under review by another journal.
  • Not have been previously published in any language.
  • Contain no fabricated data.
Authors are solely responsible for the originality and authenticity of their work.

Manuscript Preparation

Authors must prepare manuscripts using the official AJEUB Manuscript Template. The template provides detailed instructions regarding:

  • Paper structure
  • Fonts and formatting
  • Headings and subheadings
  • Tables
  • Figures
  • Equations
  • References
Manuscripts not prepared using the official template may be returned without review.

Language

  • Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise, and grammatically correct English (U.S. English).
  • Authors whose first language is not English are encouraged to have their manuscripts professionally edited before submission.

Manuscript Structure

A typical manuscript should include:

  • Title
  • Author Information
  • Abstract
  • Keywords
  • Introduction (with an integrated Literature Review, where appropriate, or a separate Literature Review section)
  • Materials and Methods
  • Results
  • Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • Acknowledgment (optional)
  • Declaration of Generative AI Use
  • References

Abstract and Keywords

The abstract should:

  • Not exceed 250 words.
  • Clearly describe the background, objectives, methodology, major findings, and conclusions.
  • Be written as a single paragraph.
  • Avoid citations, equations, abbreviations, and special symbols where possible.
  • Authors are encouraged to include a graphical abstract where appropriate.
Provide 4–6 keywords immediately after the abstract.

Tables, Figures and Equations

  • Number tables and figures consecutively.
  • Every table and figure must be cited in the text.
  • Table titles should appear above the tables.
  • Figure captions should appear below the figures.
  • Figures should be submitted in high resolution (minimum 300 dpi).
  • Equations should be created using Microsoft Word's Equation Editor and numbered consecutively.

References

AJEUB follows the IEEE Referencing Style. Authors should:

  • Cite references in numerical order.
  • Ensure all in-text citations appear in the reference list.
  • Include DOIs whenever available.
  • Verify the accuracy of every reference before submission.
The use of reference management software such as EndNote, Mendeley, or Zotero is highly encouraged.

Ethical Standards

Authors must ensure that:

  • The manuscript represents honest and ethical research.
  • All listed authors have made significant contributions.
  • Appropriate permission has been obtained for copyrighted materials.
  • Human and animal research complies with relevant ethical standards.
  • Any potential conflicts of interest are disclosed.
Any form of plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, or falsification will result in immediate rejection.

Use of Artificial Intelligence

If generative AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or similar systems) have been used during manuscript preparation, authors must disclose their use in the Declaration of Generative AI Use section. AI tools must not be listed as authors. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of the submitted manuscript.

Plagiarism Policy

All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts with an overall similarity index exceeding 20% may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected prior to peer review, depending on the nature and source of the matched content.

Copyright

Upon acceptance for publication, authors are required to sign the AJEUB Copyright Transfer Agreement, transferring the copyright of the accepted manuscript to the Academic Journal of European University of Bangladesh (AJEUB). This transfer enables the journal to publish, reproduce, distribute, and archive the article in print, electronic, and other media. Authors are responsible for ensuring that the manuscript is original and that any third-party copyrighted material has been used with appropriate permission.

Open Access and Publication Frequency

AJEUB is an open-access journal published twice a year. All published articles are freely accessible without subscription, promoting the unrestricted dissemination of scholarly research.

Article Processing Charge (APC)

AJEUB currently does not charge any Article Processing Charge (APC) or submission fee.
